  • Please Form an Orderly Queue - Sites for Travellers Wanted in Central Beds

    Just seem the article about Central Beds Council asking landowners & interested parties to come forward to submit their details for the possible location of gypsy and travellers sites. Are they serious? Why on earth would anyone want them anywhere near their land, let alone on it. Look at the state of Dale Farm, or any of the other travellers site around the country, and they are a disgusting mess.   • Will Luton bring back plastic pitch

    My Dad told me that the Hatters used to have a plastic pitch back in the 80's. With FIFA thinking about sanctioning these as technology has advanced, what odds on Luton bringing their's back? God, I hope not as it sound awful and would just not be a proper footie match. My Dad also mentioned something about ID cards and home fans only. I thought they were supposed to be the good old days?

  • Anyone seen the black cat in Barton?

    Come on. Has anyone really seen it? Idiots in the paper saying they stopped with other motorists and watched it chasing rabbits in a field. But they were '"so stunned", no-one thought to take a picture of it. Give me a break. It's not like they had to go and get the camera out of the car, everyone has one on their phones these days. Stop trying to get your name in the paper and wasting my newspaper space with this garbage.
